Cirion aims to make a structural contribution to improving our knowledge of infectious diseases, in the context of prevention, epidemiology, pathophysiology and clinical management.

On the one hand any projects undertaken must have a direct and positive impact on the local community, while on the other hand they must improve the understanding of infectious diseases. Cirion strives for sustainable development and implements “changes to improve”.

To date, Cirion has initiated projects in the Netherlands, the Netherlands Antilles, Indonesia and (South) Africa.
